Illustration Friday: Sacrifice

Without hesitation Rocky quickly places himself between his sweetheart and certain death and if he had it to do all over again he would certainly......bring a big stick!!

P.S. Thanks to all that commented on my "fire pictures". I couldn't help but smile at how each responce was so different. The photo of the big burly fireman gently holding the baby doll evokes humor in some and admiration for the firefighters sacrifices in others. I started to add a note to that photo in case anyone should think that we play with baby dolls while on duty when in fact we hide the baby doll in burning buildings and then go in to the blazing, smoke filled buildings and find the baby and bring it out before it is burned up. I must admit though that I can also see the humor in a big guy gently holding a baby doll.

Fire Photo's

These are a few photo's I took during a training exercise in Hancock. We burnt a mobile home and did search and rescue exercises then we let it burn all the way down till there was nothing left but the steel frame and axels. Pretty cool night.
